An Evening with Omer Netzer
Country Music Fans, enjoy a night out of your favorite music while supporting American and IDF veterans! Recording artist Omer Netzer, puts a unique 'Israeli' spin on his music that comes from the heart. After playing at the American Country Music Awards, he heeded the call to protect Israel, his homeland, spending four months deployed with his unit in the north, Omer then needed to reconnect with his soul. He left his homeland temporarily to live his dream and build his career in Nashville. With hit songs both in Israel and Nashville, he is well on his way to living his dream. Omer is blessing Heroes To Heroes with a benefit concert to help his brothers and sisters both in Israel and the United States. Join the community to support all that we love.
"I became a soldier at the age of 18 and found myself in a battle fight for my country and friends. When I concluded my tenure with the army, I worked with horses which became a passion, but music is my true passion — although they seem to be very closely related. I trusted my faith and went full power with the gift that God gave me to concentrate on my music."
From the battlefields of northern Israel and Lebanon to the concert halls of Nashville, Omer Netzer brings his unique style of American country music to both Israel and the United States. The four months he spent in the north with the IDF shook his world. He returned home and needed a positive outlet. Omer's dream was to return to Nashville to build his already growing career. He, his wife, and young daughter picked up and returned to Nashville. As he grows his career and moves forward from the war through his music, Omer wants to give back to his Israeli and American brothers in arms. We at Heroes To Heroes are honored to present him and his beautiful music.
22 American veterans take their own lives each day. IDF veterans are having a difficult time coping as well. Their suicide figures are rising with this current war. Moral injury, guilt and shame, are abundant. Heroes To Heroes provides a space where American and Israeli veterans work together to heal, using the Hebrew Bible and peer support to move them forward into healing. All Heroes To Heroes participants spend 10-days in Israel where they explore their faith where it all began. Over 450 American veterans and 150 Israeli veterans have taken part in the Heroes To Heroes program that includes a 10-day journey to Israel for spiritual reconnection and peer support. Join their journey by showing your support.
