Celebrate Our Local Heroes with Heroes To Heroes Foundation!
Please join the Hendersonville/Asheville community in honoring four local veterans. All returned home with challenges and are now involved with the Heroes To Heroes program. Heroes To Heroes provides spiritual healing and peer support for veterans who suffer from guilt and shame caused by actions taken or not taken during deployments. The Gala is being hosted by David, Diana, Joanie, and Kim. Enjoy a lovely dinner, mingle with your neighbors and friends and get to know four people who have given so much. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
All proceeds will go to Heroes To Heroes Foundation, https://heroestoheroes.org/. Heroes To Heroes stops suicide and depression among our veterans, by addressing moral injury, the shame and guilt brought home from war. Their 12-month curriculum includes 10-days in Israel, where participants of all faiths reconnect with their faith in an unashamed manner, allowing them to ask for and accept forgiveness.
